IET Wiring Regs Student’s Guide Roadshow

Aimed at students and electrical apprentices; the IET has launched an IET Wiring Regulations guide. Providing essential guidance, the publication helps to prepare students who are working toward gaining qualifications and successfully completing courses, the standards of which are set by awarding bodies.

After a successfully roadshow at Cambridge Regional College, Steven Devine, author of the Student’s Guide said the day had plenty of students engaging and asking questions around the requirements of BS:7671 and the IET generally.

Devine also hosts a selection of ‘How to’ guides on IET.tv which supports the Students Guide, a great way to provide diverse options for students and apprentices to learn. The roadshow also welcomed Simon Brown from BASEC who came along to explain the importance of using certified cables as well as the risks involved when using sub-standard cables.
