The company was originally formed in 1979 and so we are therefore currently celebrating our 27th year in business.

Where are Humphreys Electrical based?
Our headquarters are located on the Shrivenham Hundred Business Park, around 10 miles North East of Swindon, in Wiltshire.

What areas do Humphreys cover?
We generally work within a 100 mile radius of Swindon, although we are happy to work further afield on a case-by-case basis.

Are your personnel fully qualified?
Yes, we only employ fully qaulified personnel. Many served their apprecticeships with us and all staff maintain an ongoing training process.

What is BS7671 Certification and have Humphreys achieved it?
Electrical contractors can now achieve the British Standards Kitemark through meeting BS7671:2001 requirements for Electrical Installations.

The assessment by the BSI includes: competence in design, construction, inspection and test, and certification of installations to BS 7671 and relevant parts of the Building Regulations as they apply to the installation. The assessment also covers non-technical criteria such as relevant insurances, Health and Safety matters and generally how the business is conducted.

Once achieved, the Kitemark serves to demonstrate the contractor's ongoing commitment to quality and safety.

We are pleased to assure all our clients that all of our work is fully compliant to BS7671 and is tested and certified on completion.
